OperationSome Optional Features:• Engine Warning System – This system illuminates theRed Stop Lamp and actuates a beeper when warningthresholds for coolant temperature, engine coolant level, and / or low engine oil pressure are exceeded.• Engine Shutdown System – This system shuts downthe engine after 30 seconds of operation beyond criticalthreshold values for coolant temperature and / or oilpressure.• Throttle Control for PTO Operation.• Road Speed Limiting / Governor – Programmablemaximum speed.• Idle Shutdown Timer – Shuts down engine after 5minutes of idle time.HD-OBD OverviewThe HD-OBD system uses many individual pre-programmed“monitors” to ensure the vehicle is meeting emissions standards. An HD-OBD monitor is a strategy to evaluate the performanceof an emissions related system or component. All monitorsare designed for execution in a prescribed frequency; somemonitors run continuously, while some run a specific ratioagainst the number of drive cycles. The operator will be alerted to emissions or other systemproblemswhentheMalfunctionIndicatorLamp(MIL)illuminates. When the MIL illuminates, bring the vehicle in for service atthe next available opportunity. The HD-OBD system does notchange the way the vehicle should be driven, the recommendeddriving style, or the way you use the vehicle.Self DiagnosticsAll Warning Lamps are located on the instrument panel gaugecluster. When the ignition switch is turned ON, the WarningLamps are illuminated and remain on while the ECM runs normalstart-up tests, then goes OFF. If a warning lamp stays on orcomes on while operating the vehicle, it is an indication that thevehicle needs service. When the warning lamp is illuminated,a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be generated. Take thevehicle to a service center as soon as possible as some optionalfeatures and / or engine power may be lost while the indicator islit.153
