This allows a different mode of operation at different timesof the day (see ‘Sensitivity Mode’ in Section 11.3).• When night mode is invoked, the multi-sensor mode is fixed at alarm level 4, with pre-alarm fixed atalarm level 3. The laser mode is fixed at alarm level 5 and pre-alarm level 4.• To program the day mode operation for each multi-sensor/laser device, select ‘edit thresholds’ fromthe edit device menu. Set the required threshold level for both fire and pre-alarm that corresponds tothe desired mode of operation (refer to tables above).Note that it is important to adhere strictly to the suggested threshold settings for eachmode – these are chosen to allow for various system / device tolerances.• It is also important that after any Multi-Sensor device replacement, an Auto Learn must be performed.This has the effect of re-initialising the device (enabling the heat only alarm level)
