(SeeNote 1.)Replace the printer unitpower switch (SW1).Check the AC powerline and connectors forpoor contact; if normal, replace the printer unitpower supply.ChecksRemove the power supply of theprinter unit, and measure the resis-tance between both terminals of thecircuit breaker. Is it 0 Ω?Remove the power supply of theprinter unit, and connect the probesto both terminals of the power sup-ply switch. Is the resistance 0 Ωwhen the printer unit power switch(Note 2) is turn on and ∞ Ω when itis turned off?1 AC power is absent in the printer unit.Note:1: Be sure to wait 60 sec after the circuit breaker has turned on before turning it backon. Be sure to turn on the power switch and check the AC line for a short circuit andthe condition of the circuit breaker (continuity, and contact resistance) with a meterbefore connecting the printer unit power plug to the power outlet.2: The printer unit power switch (SW1) is blocked by a face cover after turning on theprinter unit at time of installing the reader unit. Do not touch unless this step mustbe performed. Be sure to turn it on, and attach the face cover after the work.Download free service manual at http://printer1.blogspot.com
