Re-PickupThe duplexing driver PCB turns on the duplexing feeding clutch (CL5) at the end ofhorizontal registration so as to move paper once gain.About 0.5 sec after the duplexing unit paper sensor (PS24) has detected the leadingedge of paper, the duplexing driver PCB turns of the reversing roller releasing solenoid(SL7; if the paper is not A4R, LTRR, or A5); about 1.0 sec later, it turns off the duplexingfeeding clutch (CL5). While keeping the paper at re-pickup wait position, the duplexingdriver PCB waits for a re-pickup command from the DC controller PCB.When the re-pickup command is received from the DC controller PCB, the duplexingdriver PCB controls the speed of the duplexing motor (M8) so that it matches themachine’s feeding speed; thereafter, it turns on the duplexing feeding clutch (CL5) tomove the paper to the machine’s feeding assembly.Figure 5-405CHAPTER 5 PICK-UP/FEEDING SYSTEM5-28Reversing rollerDuplexing lower guideReversingrollerreleasingplateReversing roller releasing solenoidDuplexing upper guideReversingassemblyDuplexing unitDuplexing feeding roller 1 Duplexing unitpaper sensor leverDuplexingfeeding roller 2Duplexing unit paper sensor (PS24)CL5SL7M8OFFDownload free service manual at http://printer1.blogspot.com
