Additional action isrequired, as described below.ImportantIf you have a JBOD expansion, always power off the RAIDsubsystem first. Then power off the JBOD expansion units.To power off the subsystem:1. Click the NAS Management icon at the top of the screen.The Shutdown icon at the bottom of the screen is automatically selected.2. Click the Power Off option button.3. Click the OK button.When the controller shuts down, your Smart NAS Console connection is lost.4. Wait for no less than two minutes.5. Unplug the power cord or cords, then plug them back in, to activate thepower switches.CautionAfter you power-off the subsystem, wait at least 10 secondsbefore you power-on the subsystem again.Monitoring the Power-OffTo monitor a power-off, you must use the Command Line Interface (CLI) though aserial connection to the ASUS Storage.Turn off both power supply switches when the following this message appears:Shutdown complete.
