23PF (Programmable Function)Three setup menu items can be registered in the PF buttons, and these buttons can then be used to change the setup menusettings by a simple operating procedure.Performing operations using the PFbuttons1 Open the setup menu by pressing the Menu button, andmove the cursor to the A00 MENU by tilting the joystickdown and then to the right.2 Move the cursor to the item with the PF number to beregistered (A04 to A06) by tilting the joystick up anddown.3 When the joystick is pressed, a list of items which can beset is displayed.4 Press the joystick to select the item at the cursorposition; the display will then return to the regular menu.5 When the MENU button is pressed, a confirmationscreen is displayed.Press the PLAY button to finish registering the item in thePF button.z The following menu items cannot be saved.z As for the menu items registered in the PF button, whenthe menu is not displayed due to change of settings inmenu No. 25 SYSTEM FREQ are changed, the registeredcontents in the interlocked PF button will be in the “notsaved” state and cannot be displayed nor operated. Referto “Menus which are displayed” (page 32).The settings for the PF buttons are retained but will beupdated once save operations are executed again.Operation using the PF buttons1 When the PF button is pressed, the registered items aredisplayed on the monitor screen which is output from theVIDEO MON connector.2 Press the PF1, PF2 or PF3 button that corresponds tothe item whose setting is to be changed. Each time thebutton is pressed, the setting is updated in sequence.3 When the PF button is pressed again, the regular displayis restored.
