Whenthe stick is inclined toward the left, the tape is playedback in the reverse direction.z SHTL mode:The maximum speed which is established when thejoystick has been inclined at the maximum anglecorresponds to the speed which has been set by menuitem No.101 SHTL MAX.z SLOW mode:The speed ranges from –0.9a to +1.0a.4 When the joystick is inclined upward, the tape travels in1-frame increments in the forward direction; when it isinclined downward, it travels in 1-frame increments in thereverse direction.Slow playback is performed if the stick is held at the topor bottom position.z If the SEARCH button is pressed while the joystick ispressed to one side, the current speed is maintainedeven if the joystick is released. Pressing the STOP,PLAY, or other operation buttons cancels the fixedspeed operation.z Noise may occur in the video images and voices may bedistorted when tape is replayed at a speed other than thestandard speed (1a).z The PCM audio signal is played back in the –0.9a to+1.0a speed range, while the CUE signal is played backat all other speeds.
