You can manually configureup to two IPv6 addresses for each interface, or you can allow the switch to usestateless autoconfiguration. You can manually configure two IPv6 addresses for each interface, as follows: Initial IPv6 address is a global unicast or anycast address.Note that you cannot configure both addresses as anycast. If you configure ananycast address on the interface you must also configure a global unicastaddress on that interface. Second IPv6 address can be a unicast or anycast address. You cannot configure an IPv4 address on an IPv6 management interface. Eachinterface can be configured with only one address type: either IPv4 or IPv6, but notboth. When changing between IPv4 and IPv6 address formats, the prior addresssettings for the interface are discarded. Each IPv6 interface can belong to only one VLAN. Each VLAN can support onlyone IPv6 interface. Each VLAN can support multiple IPv4 interfaces.Use the following commands to configure the IPv6 gateway:IPv6 gateway 1 is reserved for IPv6 data interfaces.IPv6 gateway 4 is the defaultIPv6 management gateway.RS G8264(config)# interface ip number>RS G8264(config ip if)# ipv6 address address>RS G8264(config ip if)# ipv6 secaddr6 address>RS G8264(config ip if)# exitRS G8264(config)# ip gateway6 1 address address>RS G8264(config)# ip gateway6 1 enable
