If it is necessary to change the direction of the clamp,completely loosen and remove the upper knob, thenmate up the appropriate sets of teeth so the clampopens to the left (for conventional yokes), or toward theinstrument panel (for Baron or Bonanza yokes or con-ventional control arms.)6. Tighten the upper knob.7. Loosen the clamp adjustment knob enough to slide theclamp over the control yoke shaft or arm.8. Tighten the clamp over the control yoke shaft or armusing the clamp adjustment knob.The yoke mount includes a bracket holder which isused to secure the GPS 92 during flight.To secure the GPS 92 into the bracket holder:1. If you are using the power/data cable to supply unitpower, make sure the power/data cable is properlyinstalled in the mounting bracket (see right) beforeinserting the GPS 92 into the bracket.2. If the power/data cable is installed into the bracket,open the rubber plug on the back of the unit. Once theunit is properly connected, the GPS 92 will run off exter-nal power and the battery level indicator will no longerappear on the status page.3. Press the GPS 92 firmly into the mounting bracket untilthe unit snaps into place.The GPS 92’s power/data cable allows you to operatethe unit using 10-32 volts DC power and connect toexternal devices, such as a PC or another GPS 92 (for dataexchange).
