Clean the staticcharge eliminator using the following procedure.IMPORTANTWhen the [Reduce Vertical Streaks on Outputs] check box in the [Assisting PrintSettings] dialog box in the Printer Status Window is selected, the printer prints withoutusing the static charge eliminator. Therefore, cleaning the static charge eliminator has noeffect on the deterioration.1 Open the front cover.Holding the opening of the front cover, open it gently.
