(The duplexing unit is anaccessory.)The temperature/humidity sensor isfaulty.The laser of the scanner unit is faulty.The laser scanner motor is faulty.The EEPROM on the DC controllerPCB is faulty.DescriptionDuring image stabilization correctioncontrol, the LED intensity signal(LEDCNT) is not generated or, if gen-erated, is not received by the diode1/2 normally.• The developing rotation positionsensor (PS3) does not detect therotation position flag even when thedeveloping rotary motor has rotatedfor a specific time.• The developing rotary position sen-sor (PS3) detects a faulty or wrongrotation position flag width.During multifeeder pick-up, the hold-ing plate position sensor (PS1302)does not detect the holding plateeven when the DC controller PCBhas generated the holding plate sole-noid (SL4) ON signal.The duplexing feeding roller 1 homeposition sensor (PS23) does notdetect the home position of theduplexing feeding roller 1 when paperis being fed to the duplexing unit.The duplexing driver PCB has detect-ed that the horizontal registrationguide has moved in excess of themaximum distance from when thehome position has been detected.During image stabilization control, theDC controller PCB cannot detect thetemperature sensor signal (TMPSNS)or the humidity sensor signal (HUM-SNS).The DC controller PCB detectsBDERR for 2.5 sec or more after thescanner motor has rotated at a spe-cific speed.• The scanner motor fails to reach aspecific revolution within 10 secafter it has started to rotate.• The BD PCB detects an error within2.5 sec after the scanner motor hasrotated at a specific revolution.The EEPROM (IC212) on the DCcontroller PCB has an error.E021E040E054E055E066E100E110E196E020Download free service manual at http://printer1.blogspot.com
