When printing in color, thereis a significant increase in the amount of information that the driver has tointerpret and translate. When printing in black ink only, the driver has onlyone color to interpret.By decreasing the amount of colors that the printer driver has to interpret,you can significantly decrease the time needed to translate the information.This will speed up the overall printing process. The BJC-70 printer driverincludes a printing mode that allows it to interpret and translate only 256colors; this decreases the amount of time your computer needs to computeinformation and therefore increases your printing speed.For quick color printingIn the BJC-70 printer driver for Windows, choose the following settings inthe Printer Setup box. These selections allow the printer driver to interpretand translate 256 colors, which will increase your printing speed. However,your print quality will not be optimized.1. From your application or from the Printer Control Panel, select Setup.2. In the Canon BJC-70 Setup dialog box, choose Plain Paper under theMedia Type box, and select Color under the Print Color box.3. Select the Options button.
