However, the print quality varies with different paper types.Be sure to test a type of paper before you purchase a large quantity.Plain PapersThe printer supports paper sizes of letter, legal, and A4 in portraitorientation. You can use regular copier paper, cotton bond papers, andtypical letterhead. Always use paper without curls, folds, staples, ordamaged edges.Coated PapersThe printer can also print on coated paper. The Canon Coated Paper(LC-101) is recommended for optimum color print quality. It is available inletter and legal sizes.TransparenciesCanon Transparencies (CF-102) are recommended. They are available inletter size.Back Print FilmCanon Back Print Film (BF-102) has been specially developed for colorprinting with Canon color printers. The film is designed to deliver brilliant,high-intensity color images suitable for business presentations, designwork, or professional reports. Back print film is printed on the back side(the nonglossy side of the film) in a mirror image and, for best results, isviewed from the front or glossy side using a backlighting device. For moredetails, ask a Canon Authorized Dealer for information or refer to themanual supplied with the film.N If you are printing from an application outside Windows, your softwareapplication or printer driver must support mirror image printing in orderto use back print film.Using the Printer
