92 Using the Operator Panel Chapter 6Selecting the Reduction ModeWe recommend that you use Reduction mode with MS-DOS applicationsonly (not Windows applications). Windows applications have a fit-to-pagefeature that is not compatible with Reduction mode.To select the reduction mode, follow these steps:1. Press the MENU button once.o The printer beeps once when it enters Menu mode.2. Press the MENU button again.o The display shows the possible Reduction modes:3. Press the button to select the desired Reduction mode.4. When the desired Reduction mode is blinking, press the ON LINEbutton.o The ON LINE light comes on.o Printing in the selected Reduction mode is enabled.
