It doeshowever fit perfectly alongside thereduced width MV5970 4 way VU panelin a 3+ chassis section along with astandard TFT meter panel and the reset /facilities panel.Moving coil meters do not access themeter data system and require an audiofeed via the console's rear connectorinterface. If the meter is to be fed directlyfrom console outputs, this should beprovisioned for in the quantity of Hydra2output ports ordered.Moving coil meters can be fed with eitherdigital or analogue audio signals. Theinputs are mixed rather than switchedhowever so only one format should be fedat any given time.ConnectionsAudio is received via female D25connectors on the console's rear interfacepanel. These wire internally to a femaleD37 on the back of the meter panel itself.See the Surface Rear Connector Pin-outssection for wiring detail.Meter panels are powered via a singleRJ45 connection fed from a POE switchancillary power port.DIPswitchconfigurationThe drive card for this panel type isdesigned to work only with VU meters andas such has no DIP switch configurationoptions.MV5916 - SIX WAY VU MOVING COIL METER
