Thesemanually stored positions arereferred to as Button Memorypositions.The vehicle will also automaticallysave driver seat and outside mirrorpositions to the current driverRemote Keyless Entry (RKE)transmitter when the ignition isplaced in OFF. These automaticallystored positions are referred to asRKE Memory positions. SeeRemote Keyless Entry (RKE)System Operation on page 2‑2.Storing Button Memory PositionsTo save positions into ButtonMemory for the “1” and “2” drivingpositions:1. Adjust the driver seat andoutside mirrors to the desireddriving positions.2. Press and hold SET and “1” atthe same time until a beepsounds.3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for asecond driver using “2.”To save positions into ButtonMemory for the B (Exit) and EasyExit features:1. Adjust the driver seat andoutside mirrors to the desiredpositions for getting out of thevehicle.2. Press and hold SET and B atthe same time until a beepsounds.Recalling Button MemoryPositionsPress and hold "1," "2," or B torecall the Button Memory positions.Releasing "1," "2," or B before thestored positions are reached stopsthe recall.Briefly press and release “1,” “2,” orB to recall the Button Memorypositions. The ignition must be inON/RUN/START, and thetransmission must be in P (Park) foran automatic transmission or theparking brake must be set for amanual gearbox. Placing the ignitionin OFF before the stored positionsare reached stops the recall.If something has blocked the driverseat while recalling a memoryposition, the recall may stop.Remove the obstruction; then pressand hold the appropriate manualcontrol for the memory item that is
