This handle will glowfollowing exposure to light. Pull therelease handle to open the bootfrom the inside.Vehicle SecurityThis vehicle has theft-deterrentfeatures; however, they do not makethe vehicle impossible to steal.Vehicle Alarm SystemThis vehicle has an anti-theft alarmsystem.The indicator light, on theinstrument panel near thewindscreen, indicates the status ofthe system.In addition to standardtheft-deterrent system capabilities,this system also has a powersounder, intrusion sensor, andinclination sensor.If this theft-deterrent system isarmed, the alarm will sound anytime a door, the boot, or the bonnetis opened. The indicators will flashfor up to 30 seconds.The alarm can also be triggered bya change in vehicle position, suchas if the vehicle is lifted, or by aninterruption of the vehicle's powersupply. The power sounder has aninternal battery. If the vehicle losesbattery power when thetheft-deterrent system is armed, thepower sounder will activateautomatically.Arming the System1.
