However, for best performance and fortrailer towing, you may wish to use middle gradeor premium unleaded gasoline. If the octane is less than87, you may get a heavy knocking noise when youdrive. If this occurs, use a gasoline rated at 87 octaneor higher as soon as possible. Otherwise, you mightdamage your engine.5-4
