22 model 2000 DeviceNet Module Manual (DN611/DN611A)Chapter 2 Names and Functions of the Parts of the DN6112In the following cases, module or network status is displayed by combined indicationsof this LED and the module status and network status LEDs.• A trouble has occurred on the DN611 or on the network.• An error has occurred due to a request from the S controller.(Parameter setting, operation mode, etc. are controlled as requested by the Scontroller.)• The DN611 has run down.See 6.2 Indications of the 7-Segment LED for the combined indications andmeanings of this LED and the module status and network status LEDs.(3) DIP switches for operation mode/communication rate settingThese DIP switches are used for setting the DN611 in run mode in the event of abusoff and a communication rate on the network (500 kbps/250 kbps, 125 kbps).The meanings of the DIP switches and the method of their setting are described in3.2 Setting the Switches.(4) Rotary switches for node address setting (NA-H/NA-L)These switches are used for setting node addresses in a DeviceNet network to whichDN611s are connected.A DN611 can have a node address within the range of 0 to 63 (decimals) unless it isidentical with that of another node (slave device) on the network.The method of setting the rotary switches is described in 3.2 Setting the Switches.(5) Test connectorThis connector is for maintenance only. You may not use it.(6) Device connector (for DeviceNet connection)This connector is for connecting DeviceNet cables to the DN611. The method ofconnecting cables is described in 3.4 Connection to the Network.
