6F8C0845 1196.2 Indications of the 7-Segment LED66.2 Indications of the 7-Segment LEDThe 7-segment LED (NA/ERROR) on the front panel of the DN611 indicates nodeaddresses and error codes. When the DN611 is transmitting normally with slave devices, the local station nodeaddress (value set by the rotary switches on the front panel of the module) is displayed. If one of the following errors occurs, the 7-segment LED indicates the state of the moduleor network.• The DN611, network, or slave device has developed an error.• An error has occurred due to one request or another from the S controller.• The DN611 has run down. This LED indicates the local station node address by blinking while a scan list is beingcreated during the process of slave device parameter setting.Table 6-2 and Table 6-3 show combinations of the 7-segment LED with the modulestatus/network status LEDs and their meanings. The mark ↔ in these tables indicatesalternate display of the indications of both LEDs.Table 6-2 Combined Indications of the 7-segment LED and 2-Color LEDM: DN611 node address S: Slave device node address7-segmentLED MS NS DescriptionOFF OFF OFF No power is supplied to the S controller. It is beinginitialized by a reset request.M ON OFF OFF Standby mode (Just after switching power on; afterreset request)M blinking OFF OFF Slave device parameters being setM ON Green ON Green ON Transmission normal (Neither the module nor thenetwork has developed errors.)70 ↔ M Green ON Red ON DN611 has detected its node address identical withthat of a slave device.72 ↔ S Green ON Red blinking • Response from some slave devices has ceasedduring normal transmission.• Polling is disabled by operation mode settingwhile there are polling devices on the scan list.• Bit strobe is disabled by operation mode settingwhile there are bit strobe devices on the scan list.• Receive data size and scan type different fromthe actual ones have been set as slave deviceparameters.73 ↔ S Green ON Red blinking Vendor ID, product type, and product code differentfrom the actual ones have been set as slave deviceparameters.75 ↔ M Green ON Red blinking No slave device exists on the network when startingtransmission (this indication only)75 ↔ M Green ON Green blink-ing• Run mode is requested without setting parame-ters for any slave device* This state occurs before the DN611 and a slavedevice start transmission. If it lasts 30 seconds ormore, check the slave device parameters.
