Functions6.7 [2.08] Settings > CalibrationsOperating with the Local User InterfaceOperating Manual, 06/2017, A5E31930478-05 115Types of calibrationYou can set the following types of calibration:Table 6- 3 Types of calibrationCalibration Description1-point zero gas calibration This calibration eliminates drifts in the zero point. The setpoint corresponds to theactual value in the zero point.1-point span gas calibration This calibration eliminates drifts in the span point by adjusting a sensitivity factoraccordingly. The setpoint corresponds to the actual value in the span point.2-point calibration In this type of calibration, zero gas validation and span gas calibration take placesuccessively.Scope/referenceSingle calibrationCalibrations can be run as single or total calibrations. Only the selected measuring range iscalibrated in a single calibration, while the calibration parameters of all other measuringranges are not affected.Total calibrationIn a total calibration, at first the selected measuring range is calibrated as with singlecalibration. However, the newly calculated calibration parameters of this leading measuringrange are transferred to all other measuring ranges. All measuring ranges can be adjustedsimultaneously in this way.SequenceInformation on the sequence of a calibration/validation is available at: → Sequence of acalibration/validation (Page 116).
