For exam-ple, if the directory name is “SAM SMITH,” press the number “7” four times to get the let-ter “S.” Now press the number “2” once to get the letter “A.” Continue selecting charac-ters from the keypad to complete the name. Press the programmable ”A” key to togglebetween upper and lower case text. (Refer to section 1.5.2 in Part 1 for key descrip-tions.)Tip: When the character you want is on the same key as the previous character you typed in, press theVOLUME UP key to move the cursor to the right, and enter the new character.The # key can be used for the following special characters (in sequence of key presses):# space & ! : ? . , % $ - < > / =[ ] @ ^ ( ) _ + { } | ; " → `Example 1: Switching options on (yes=print) or off (no=do not print)ACTION DISPLAY1.
