PTR 1 to 4 : Activates the patrol function when thetrigger time elapses.TRK : After the trigger time elapses, thecamera returns to the home position andthen automatic tracking starts. Followingthat, after a set time, the camera returnsto the home position and auto trackingrepeats.Notes:• The HOME setting should be selected when youwant to normally leave the camera in the homeposition and occasionally perform pan and tilt,or when you want to activate SEQ.• PTR1-4 displays only the set number of patrolroutines (page 37).(5) Auto Mode Setting (AUTO MODE)Use the auto mode setting to specify the cameramovement mode (OFF, SEQ, SORT, AUTO PAN,PATROL 1~4, AUTO TRACK).After selecting AUTO PAN, you can use the AUTO PANsetting menu to configure detailed settings.1. Move the cursor to AUTO MODE, and then tilt thejoystick left or right to select a camera movementmode setting.OFF : Manual movement onlySEQ : Sequentially switches between presetpositions in position number sequence.(sequential movement)SORT : Sequentially switches between presetpositions counterclockwise, starting fromthe camera home position. (sort movement)AUTO PAN:Camera pans automatically within the rangespecified by PAN. Selecting AUTO PAN andpressing the CAM (SET) button will display theAUTO PAN setting menu, which can be usedfor configuring detailed settings. (page 36)PATROL 1 to 4:Operates the camera in accordancewith patrol function settings.AUTO TRACK:Auto tracking is done for movingobjects.Tilting the joystick cycles through settings in thesequence shown below.Notes:• The auto mode is exited automatically whenevermanual PAN/TILT or ZOOM/FOCUS isperformed if AUTO PAN is operating andPAN/TILT does SEQ, SORT, PATROL, or AUTOTRACK movement. Note, however, that that thecontents of the setting menu do not change. Toreturn to the auto mode, open the setup menuand then close it again. The auto mode will alsoactivate when the self return trigger time (thispage) elapses.• During operation, the lens may enter the refreshmode.• PATROL1-4 displays only the set number ofpatrol routines (page 37).(3) Home Position Setting (HOME POSITION)A currently configured preset position can bedesignated as the home position.Pressing the HOME button of the system controller willcause the camera to move to the currently specifiedhome position. Use the following procedure to make apreset position the home position.1. Move the cursor to HOME POSITION, and then tiltthe joystick left or right to select the positionnumber of the preset position you want to make thehome position.This causes the preset position whose positionnumber you select to become the home position. Ifyou do not want to use the home position function,select OFF for the HOME POSITION setting.(4) Self Return Setting (SELF RETURN)The self return setting can be used to specify automaticreturn to a particular mode if a certain amount of timeelapses without any operation being performed.1. Move the cursor to SELF RETURN, and then tilt thejoystick left or right to select a self return trigger setting.Tilting the joystick cycles through the self returndisplay in the sequence shown below.
