41Maintenance (continued)Zoom wheel controlleradjustment valueZoom wheel controller adjustmentThe zoom wheel controller is adjusted (zoom calibration)Note:• The displayed zoom wheel controller state value changes according to the direction of rotating the zoom wheel controller.• The displayed zoom wheel controller state value may change depending on the equipment, or every time the adjustmentis made.• When returning the zoom wheel controller to the center, do not return it slowly, but quickly release your hand as if to flip it.If the joystick is returned slowly, it may stop not at the center but at a position that is slightly off from the center.Operation procedure1 Switch ON the power supply while simultaneouslypressing +The administrator ID input screen is displayed.2 Input the administrator ID using the numericbuttonsThe administrator ID that has been input is displayed on thescreen.3 PressThe password input screen is displayed.4 Enter the administrator password using the numericbuttons5 PressWhen a wrong administrator ID or password has been input,the blinking message "invalid" is displayed for a fewseconds, and then the display returns to the administrator IDinput screen. Input again the correct administrator ID andpassword.When the administrator ID and password have been inputcorrectly, the zoom wheel controller calibration settingsconfirmation screen is displayed.Zoom wheel controller in the central stateThe zoom wheel controller adjustment value is displayed inthe top right part of the screen.When the zoom wheel controller is moved in the left andright directions, the adjustment value displayed changes inthe range of -4 (when rotated to the left end (wide angle end)position) to 0 (hand released from the zoom wheel controllerletting it return to the central position) to 4 (zoom wheelcontroller moved to the right end (telephoto) position).The state in which the zoomwheel controller is rotated tothe left end (wide angle end)The state in which the zoomwheel controller is rotated tothe right end (telephoto end)When the zoom wheel controller is rotated to the left andright and to the center, if the adjustment value displayed isnot in the rage -4 to 0 to 4 as described above, since it islikely that the adjustment of the zoom wheel controller hasshifted, carry out adjustment of the zoom wheel controlleraccording to the following procedure.Right (telephoto end)Left (wide angle end)6 PressThe zoom wheel controller (telephoto end) settings screen isdisplayed.The zoom wheel controller state value is displayed in the topright part of the screen.
