4PrefaceFeaturesThe System Controllers WV-CU980 and WV-CU980/G (hereafter referred to as 'this equipment') are intended to be connected byEthernet to a personal computer (hereafter referred to as 'PC') in which our company's Video Surveillance Software (hereafterreferred to as 'PC software') has been installed, and to operate the PC software. This equipment can carry out selection of videoimage and PTZ operations of network cameras (hereafter referred to as 'camera') via the PC software.In addition, it is also possible to record or play back the video image in a network disk recorder (hereafter referred to as'recorder') via the PC software.Excellent Ease of OperationA joystick that can be separated from the main unit is provided, and since smooth operations can be made by the grip portion ofthe joystick, it is possible to carry out the pan, tilt, and zoom operations of the camera via the PC software easily and with onehand.
