Monitor display (camera images)Problem Cause & Solution PageEven though there arepeople, they cannot beviewed at all or can onlybe partially viewed.R You may not be able to correctly view people with the camera in thefollowing cases.– When people are moving near the edge of the sensor range.– When people move slowly or quickly across the front of the camera.– When people move closely across the front of the camera (approx.1 m).-Images are dirty orunclear (out of focus).R There is dirt on the surface of the camera’s lens cover.→ Wipe the lens cover with a soft, dry cloth. -Images are not displayedwith the correctbrightness.R The brightness in the area where the camera is installed is changingrapidly.→ Wait about 1 second. The brightness will be automaticallyadjusted.-Images are blurry andpeople’s faces or otherobjects are hard todistinguish.R When images of dark areas are viewed, due to the characteristics ofthe image sensor of the camera, people’s faces can be hard todistinguish. (This is not a malfunction.)→ We recommend installing extra lights in the area around thecamera. (The camera’s LED lights cannot produce enough light toilluminate the area in this situation.)-Objects in images areblurred.R Images may blur when the subject moves. (This is a characteristic ofthe image sensor of the camera and is not a malfunction.)R Images of objects can easily blur when images of dark areas areviewed or if the object is dark.→ We recommend installing extra lights in the area around thecamera. (The camera’s LED lights cannot produce enough light toilluminate the area in this situation.)-White points or colouredlight points are displayedin images.R White points or coloured light points may appear in images whenimages of dark areas are viewed or if the object is dark. (This is acharacteristic of the image sensor of the camera and is not amalfunction.)→ We recommend installing extra lights in the area around thecamera. (The camera’s LED lights cannot produce enough light toilluminate the area in this situation.)-Images have unevencolour.R AC (alternating current) lights such as fluorescent lights may causeuneven colouring or flickering.→ Setting [Uneven colour prevention] to [On] may reduce the unevencolour and flickering.
