Checking Missed CallsWhen there are new missed calls, the Missed Callbutton appears on the HOME screen and displays thenumber of missed calls that you have. The KX-NT400can store the information for up to 100 missed calls.1. Press Missed Call to display the Missed call log.Usage tips• An orange line appears above the HOME tab whenthere are new missed calls.• For details about making calls from a call log, see"Dialling by Using Call Logs (Page 68)".Note• If there are missed calls when the timer forturning off the LCD has expired, the LCD doesnot turn off. Instead, a message indicating thatyou have missed calls is displayed. For detailsabout the timer for turning off the LCD, see"Display / Operation Settings (Page 121)".• Displaying the Missed call log clears theMissed Call button from the HOME screen, andthe HOME tab returns to its originalappearance.Presence Status SettingYour presence status is displayed to other parties,letting them know whether you are available, in ameeting, away from your desk, etc.The KX-NT400 has several preset presence statusesthat you can select. You can also create custompresence statuses.1. On the HOME screen, press the first drop-down list.2. On the Presence Select window, select the desiredpresence status.• If you have created additional presencestatuses, press Custom to display them.• Press Options to enter a custom presencestatus. For details, see "Setting a custompresence message".• Press Close to close the window withoutapplying a presence status.Setting a custom presence messagePressing Options on the Presence Select windowallows you to enter a temporary presence message.1. On the Presence Select window, press Options.2. Enter the desired presence message.3. Press OK.The message you set will be displayed to otherparties.Note• Temporary presence messages are not saved.If you change your presence status, yourcustom message will be lost.• Percent signs (%) that are included in a custompresence message will be displayed as spaceson the KX-NT400 and on other display PTs.Usage tips• You can customise the existing presence statuses,and add up to 8 new presence statuses.
