Chat Log (Export Only)Select the check box to export the chat log.For details about the chat log, see "Chat(Page 87)".NoteSD Memory Card InformationConfirm the following before using an SD memorycard.• A compatible card is inserted (see "CompatibleSD Memory Cards (Page 190)").• The SD memory card has been formatted usingthe correct format (see "Formatting SD MemoryCards (Page 191)").• The SD memory card is not locked (see "WriteProtection (LOCK) (Page 190)").• Data stored on SD memory cards can becorrupted if the card is exposed toelectromagnetic fields, static electricity, etc. Werecommend to back up important data stored onSD memory cards.• The KX-NT400 cannot delete the contents ofthe SD memory card unless you format it.Use computers to individually delete thecontents of an SD memory card.Initialising the KX-NT400You can initialise the KX-NT400 to reset all settings totheir default values. This feature is only accessible fromthe Setup screen.For details about initialising the KX-NT400, see "SettingInitialise (Page 173)".Restarting the KX-NT400Automatic RestartingWhen you change certain settings, the KX-NT400restarts automatically.On the Setup screenDuring the setup procedure, when you change settingson the following screens, the KX-NT400 automaticallyrestarts after you press Close on the Setup screen.• Language Settings (Page 167)• IP Address Settings (Page 167)• IP Port Settings (Page 168)• Quality of Service (QoS) Settings (Page 169)• Firmware Version Update (Page 171)• Setting Initialise (Page 173)Note• For details about the Setup screen, see"Setting Up the KX-NT400 (Page 165)".On the Options screenDuring normal use, when you change settings on eitherof the following screens, the KX-NT400 restartsautomatically after you press OK on the respectivescreen.• Display / Operation Settings (Page 121)*1• Language Settings (Page 124)*1 Restarting occurs only when Display Colour is changed.Manual Restarting (System Reset)When the settings for the KX-NT400 have beenchanged via the PC Maintenance Console or changeshave been made to the PBX’s configuration, theKX-NT400 requires manual restarting.To perform a manual restart, disconnect the Ethernetcable (when using PoE) or unplug the AC adaptor fromthe power outlet.The KX-NT400 does not have a system reset button.Some examples of when the KX-NT400 needs to berestarted are listed below:• The Forward/Do Not Disturb settings have beenchanged via the PC Maintenance Console.• The presence status settings have been changedvia the PC Maintenance Console.• The floating extension number of the simplifiedvoice message system (SVM) or Panasonic VoiceProcessing System (VPS) has changed.
