Turn the balance on andallow it to warm up. After it reaches ambient temperature, allow it to run for at least one morehour before performing these tests.NOTE:Make sure the test area is free from drafts and that the balance rests on a leveland vibration-free surface.4.1.1 TEST MASSES REQUIREDThe masses required to test the Ohaus Pioneer balances must meet the requirements of ASTMClass 1 or OIML E1 Tolerance. Connect a functioning Power Adapter to the balance power receptacle located at therear of the balance.2. Plug the Power Adapter into a suitable power source.4.3 Segment Display TestTurn the balance on, and ensure that all segments are enabled and displayed briefly.The balance’s model number appears next, followed by a software revision number.This is a Segment Display Test.
