Operation and Features 2Keysight U2722A/U2723A User’s Guide 53Extending the Output PowerThe U2722A/U2723A is equipped with three dedicated channels of up to 20 V and120 mA per channel.Series connectionsTo increase the output voltage, tie two or more of the outputs in series as shownin Figure 2-13. This is to obtain a higher voltage than that available from a singleoutput. Series connected outputs can be operated with one load across theconnected outputs or with a separate load for each output.When a series connection is used, the output voltage is the sum of the voltages ofthe individual output. The current is the current of any one output.
