24 H-S81-HS Installation & Operation Manual — P/N LS10114-000HI-E:A 2/24/2015General Description Communication Protocol for Supervisory SystemsError Messages of the Communication Network:The following error messages concerning communication networks can be shown on control paneldisplays:1.7 Communication Protocol for Supervisory SystemsH-S81-HS systems can be connected to IRIDE supervisory system via LAN network or point-to-point serial connection. A maximum of 2 supervisors per control panel can be configured on theLAN network, and one on Host serial port. In both cases, a dedicated protocol is used. The connec-tion between control panels and supervisors can be made of copper, optical fiber or copper/fiber(mixed), for meeting different needs.
