Managing the EncoderConfiguring Video EncodersMakito X User’s Guide, v2.2, Issue 02 83Configuring Video Encoder SettingsFrom the Video Encoder Detail View, you can define both basic and advanced videoencoding parameters for the encoder, such as the Input interface (SDI-only), Bitrate, outputResolution, Frame Rate, and GOP Size.(H.264 only) You can also select a Region of Interest (ROI) to maximize the quality ofvideo within selective portions of the video frame. Or you can enable cropping (within theinput image) to enhance the view.For supported video encoding resolutions, see “Video Encoding” on page 383.To configure the Video Encoding Settings:1. From the Video Encoders List View, click a link in the table to select the encoder.The Video Encoder Detail View opens, displaying the settings for the selected videoencoder (see following example).2.
