45Navigation SimulatorThe GPS 12CX’s simulator mode lets you practiceall aspects of its operation without active satellite ac-quisition. You can plan and practice trips, enter newwaypoints and routes, and save them for use duringnormal operation.To activate the simulator:1. From the Setup Menu Page, highlight ‘SYSTEM’, andpressENTER.2. Highlight the ‘MODE’ field, and pressENTER.3.
