PressENTER to confirm the ‘RESET?’ prompt.Altitude FieldWhen the GPS 12CX is acquiring satellites or navi-gating in the 2D mode, the last known altitude is usedto compute your position. You may also manually en-ter your altitude for greater accuracy. In cases wherethe GPS 12CX has 2D coverage, entering your approxi-mate altitude will enable the receiver to determine amore accurate position fix.To enter an altitude:1. Highlight the ‘ALT’ field, and pressENTER.2.
