If racks must be handledwhen hot, do not let pot holder contact theheating elements.• Never leave jars or cans of fat drippings in ornear your oven.• Pulling out the rack to the stop-lock is aconvenience in lifting heavy foods. It is alsoa precaution against burns from touchinghot surfaces of the door or oven walls.• When using cooking or roasting bags in theoven, follow the manufacturer’s directions.• Do not use your oven to dry newspapers.If overheated, they can catch on fire.• Do not use oven for a storage area. Items storedin an oven can ignite.• Do not leave paper products, cooking utensilsor food in the oven when not in use.• Do not allow anyone to climb, stand or hangon the door. They could damage the oven orcause severe personal injury.• Use only dry pot holders—moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may result in burnsfrom steam. Do not let pot holders touch ovenheating elements. Do not use a towel or otherbulky cloth.• After broiling, always take the broiler pan outof the oven and clean it. Leftover grease in thebroiler pan can catch fire the next time you usethe pan.• Stand away from the oven when opening theoven door. Hot air or steam which escapes cancause burns to hands, face and/or eyes.• Large scratches or impacts to glass doors canlead to broken or shattered glass.• Clean only parts listed in this Owner’s Manual.
