Using the Timed Features for Convection CookingTrivection ™ Wall OvenHow toset animmediatestart andautomaticstopThe oven will turn on immediately and cook for aselected length of time. At the end of the cooking time,the oven will turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct timeof day.1 Select CONVECTION.2 On double oven models, select upper orlower oven.3 Select CONV MULTI for multi-rackconvection baking. This mode is used forcooking food items on more than one rack(i.e., 2, 3 or more racks) at the same time inconvection bake. See Multi-Rack Bakingsection for more information.Select CONV 1-RACK for one rackconvection baking. This mode is used forcooking food items on only one rack inconvection bake.Select CONVROAST for convection roasting.4 Press the number pads to set the desired oventemperature.5 Select OPTIONS.6 Select TIMED BAKE.7 Using the number pads, enter the desiredconvection cooking time. The oventemperature and the cooking time that youentered will be displayed.NOTE: The time countdown will not start until afterthe oven is preheated.8 Select ENTER. This tells the oven that youhave finished setting it.9 Select START.When the oven starts to heat, the changingtemperature, starting at 100°F, will be displayed.When the oven reaches the temperature youset, 3 beeps will sound.The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shut offautomatically, unless the WARM feature was set.See the Settings section.After the cooking time has ended, the oven willprompt the user to add “MORE TIME” to furthercook food if desired. Add additional time by selectingMORE TIME. Enter traditional cooking time inminutes and select START. Press CLEAR/OFF padif food has finished cooking.26On double oven models, you can use timed baking or roasting in one oven while using self-clean in the other;you can also use timed baking or roasting in both ovens at the same time.You will hear a fan while cooking with these features. The convection fan will stop when the door is opened,but the heat will not turn off.NOTE: Foods that spoil easily—such as milk, eggs, fish, stuffings, poultry and pork—should not be allowedto sit for more than 1 hour before or after cooking. Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria.Be sure that the oven light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.
