PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE(LOCK) LIGHT • The oven door is locked because the temperature inside the ovenIS ON WHEN YOU has not dropped below the locking temperature. Press the CLEAR/OFFWANT TO COOK pad. Allow the oven to cool.IN THE OVENDISPLAY SHOWS • A temperature was set outside the allowable range of 170°F–550°F.“ERR” Set the temperature between 170°F–550°F.OVEN LIGHT • Light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace the bulb.DOES NOT WORK • Pad operating light is broken. Call for service.“F— AND A NUMBER • You have a function error code. Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow theOR LETTER” FLASH oven to cool for one hour. Put the oven back into operation.IN THE LOWER OVEN • If the function code repeats, disconnect all power to the oven for atDISPLAY least 30 seconds and then reconnect power. If the function errorcode repeats, call for service.POWER OUTAGE, • Power outage or surge. Reset the clock. If the oven was in use,CLOCK FLASHES you must reset it by pressing the CLEAR/OFF pad, setting theclock and resetting any cooking function.STEAM FROM • When using the convection or speedcook feature, it is normalTHE VENT to see steam coming out of the oven vent. As the number of shelvesor amount of food being cooked increases, the amount of visiblesteam will increase. This is normal.“BURNING” OR • This is normal in a new oven and will disappear in time. To speed“OILY” ODOR the process, set a self-clean cycle for a minimum of 3 hours. See theEMITTING FROM Using the Self-Cleaning Oven section.OVEN VENTSTRONG ODOR • An odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normalIN THE OVEN for the first few times the oven is used. This is temporary.FAN NOISE • A cooling fan or a convection fan (depending on the function youWHEN USING are using) may automatically turn on. This is normal. The coolingTHE OVEN fan will turn on to cool internal parts. It may run for up to 1-1/2 hoursafter the oven is turned off. The convection fan will cycle on and offuntil the function is over or the door is opened.OVEN DOOR • The lower oven racks are in the upper oven or the upper oven racksDOES NOT SHUT OR are in the lower oven. Place the correct racks in the correct oven.RACKS DO NOT FIT On double wall ovens, the rack design is unique for the upperPROPERLY ON A Trivection™ oven.
