How to setthe oven forproofNOTE: For best results, cover the dough with a clothor with greased plastic wrap (the plastic may need tobe anchored underneath the container so the oven fanwill not blow it off).1 Place the covered dough in the oven on rackB or C.2 Select FEATURES, then MORE, thenPROOF and then START.The interior oven lights turn on and remain onduring proofing.The proofing feature automatically provides theoptimum temperature for the proofing process,and therefore does not have a temperatureadjustment.3 Set the TIMER for the minimum proof time.4 When proofing is finished, press theCLEAR/OFF pad.• To avoid lowering the oven temperature andlengthening proofing time, do not open the ovendoor unnecessarily.• Check bread products early to avoid over-proofing.NOTE:• Do not use the proofing mode for warming food orkeeping food hot. Then select START.To Crisp Stale Items• Place food in low-sided dishes or pans.• For best results, place the food items in asingle layer. Do not stack.• Leave them uncovered.• Check crispness after 20-30 minutes. Add timeas needed.IMPORTANT NOTES:• Food should be kept hot in its cooking container ortransferred to a heat-safe serving dish.• For moist foods, cover them with an oven-safe lid oraluminum foil.• Fried or crisp foods do not need to be covered, butcan become too dry if warmed for too long.• Repeated opening of the door allows the hot air toescape and the food to cool.• Allow extra time for the temperature inside the ovento stabilize after adding items.• With large loads it may be necessary to cover someof the cooked food items.• Remove serving spoons, etc., before placingcontainers in the oven.• Do not use plastic containers, lids or plastic wrap.CAUTION: Plastic containers, lids or plastic wrapwill melt if placed in the oven.
