Have the installer show you the location ofthe circuit breaker or fuse. Mark it for easyreference. Do not leave children alone—childrenshould not be left alone or unattended inan area where an appliance is in use. Theyshould never be allowed to sit or stand onany part of the appliance. Have the installer show you the locationof the range gas shut-off valve and how toshut it off if necessary. Have your range installed and properlygrounded by a qualified installer, inaccordance with the InstallationInstructions. Any adjustment and serviceshould be performed only by qualified gasrange installers or service technicians. Locate the range out of kitchen traffic pathand out of drafty locations to prevent poorair circulation. Be sure all packaging materials areremoved from the range before operatingit to prevent fire or smoke damage shouldthe packaging material ignite. Do not leave children alone or unattendedwhere a range is hot or in operation. Theycould be seriously burned. Do not attempt to repair or replace anypart of your range unless it is specificallyrecommended in this manual. All otherservice should be referred to a qualifiedtechnician. Be sure your range is correctly adjustedby a qualified service technician or installerfor the type of gas (natural or LP) that isto be used. Your range can be convertedfor use with either type of gas. See theInstallation Instructions packed withthe range. Plug your range into a 120-volt groundedoutlet only. Do not remove the roundgrounding prong from the plug. If indoubt about the grounding of the homeelectrical system, it is your personalresponsibility and obligation to havean ungrounded outlet replaced with aproperly grounded, three-prong outlet inaccordance with the National ElectricalCode (U.S.). Do not use an extension cordwith this appliance.WARNING: These adjustmentsmust be made by a qualified servicetechnician in accordance with themanufacturer’s instructions and all codesand requirements of the authority havingjurisdiction.
