Do nottouch the bulb with bare fingers.Push the bulb straight into thereceptacle all the way.Place the tabs of the glass cover intothe grooves of the socket. Turn theglass cover clockwise 1/4 turn toengage.For improved lighting insidethe oven, clean the glass coverfrequently using a wet cloth. Dry the grates and grillewith a cloth—don’t put them back on thecooktop wet.To get rid of burned-on food, place thegrates and grille in a covered container.Add 1/4 cup (59 mL) ammonia and letthem soak several hours or overnight.Wash, rinse well and dry.Although they’re durable, the gratesand grille will gradually lose their shine,regardless of the best care you can givethem. This is due to their continualexposure to high temperatures.Do not operate a burner for an extendedperiod of time without cookware on thegrate. The finish on the grate may chipwithout cookware to absorb the heat.After cleaning, replace the center ventgrille first. Replace the side grates so thatthe center extensions are oriented towardthe center of the cooktop. The rearcenter extensions should slightly overlapthe vent grille. Make sure the grates arepositioned securely over the burnersand that they are stable and level.Rubber Grate FeetFor stability, your cooktop has rubberfeet on the burner grates.
