Specify the settings using the easiest method.• NetSpot Device Installer (Canon software included on the Network User SoftwareCD-ROM)• NetSpot Console (via a web browser) (Canon software included on the NetworkUser Software CD-ROM)• A web browser (Remote UI)• An FTP clientIMPORTANTYou can enhance the security by setting the range of IP addresses of the computersauthorized to access the machine. Once you set the range of IP addresses of computesfrom which data can be sent to the machine for printing, the machine rejects data sentfrom computers whose IP addresses are not allowed. For instructions on how to registerthe IP addresses of computers permitted or rejected to print on the machine, seeChapter 2, "Remote UI Functions," in the Remote UI Guide.NOTEIf you change the IP (Internet Protocol) address on the web browser (Remote UI), thechange will not be reflected on the display of the machine.
