Restricting the Send Function6-386System Manager SettingsRestricting the Send FunctionThis section explains how to set a password for the Address Book, restrict the use of newaddresses, set permissions for sending faxes from the fax driver, restrict recalling andbroadcasting, and confirm entered fax numbers.NOTEThe modes described in this section are available only if the optional Color Send Kit (standard for theiR2022i/iR2018i) is activated or the optional Super G3 FAX Board is installed.Setting a Password for the Address BookIf you set a password, the screen for entering the password appears when you attempt to editthe Address Book.NOTENo password is set by default.1 Press (Additional Functions) ➞ [System Settings].If necessary, see the screen shot in step 1 of “Specifying the System Manager Settings,” onp. 6-2.If the System Manager ID and System Password have been set, enter the System Manager IDand System Password using - (numeric keys) ➞ press (Log In/Out).2 Press [▼] or [▲] until [Restrict the Send Function] appears ➞ press[Restrict the Send Function].
