This is especially useful when it is difficult to predict when to startrecording.1 Open the pre-recording screen.[FUNC.] [d Pre REC]2 Touch [A On] and then touch [a].• d will appear on the screen.• Repeat, selecting [B Off], to turn off pre-recording.3 Press g.• The scene recorded in the memory will start 3 seconds before g was pressed.NOTES• The camcorder will not record the full 3 seconds prior to pressing g if the button waspressed within 3 seconds of having turned on pre-recording or having finished the previousrecording.• Any of the following actions will deactivate the pre-recording function.- Leaving the camcorder without any operation for 5 minutes.- Changing the position of the mode switch.- Pressing S.- Activating video snapshot.- Setting the camcorder to standby mode.- Touching any of the following control buttons in the FUNC. panel: [MENU], [Rec.
