You canconnect almost any stereo microphone with a ∅ 3.5 mm plug but audio recording levels may vary.When using the built-in microphone or an externalmicrophone connected to the MIC terminal, set the audioinput switch to INT.• If you connect a microphone to the MIC terminal while theaudio input switch is set to INT, the camcorder will switchautomatically from the built-in microphone to the externalmicrophone.To use the WM-V1 Wireless MicrophoneUsing the WM-V1 you can reliably record sound even when recording subjects at a distanceexceeding the practical range of the built-in microphone.
