When attaching the lens hood, grip belt andstraps, be careful not to drop the camcorder.Attaching the Microphone Holder UnitUse the supplied screws to attach the microphone holder unit tothe handle unit.Attaching the Handle Unit1 Align the handle unit with the front and rear sockets andthen slide the handle unit forward until it is in place.• Make sure the screws are raised when you slide the handleunit.2 Firmly tighten the front and rear screws with a coin orsimilar object.NOTES• The camcorder is functional even if you remove the handleunit. However, some audio options (0 73, 76), the infraredlight and tally lamp will not be available.
