2EIntroductionImportant Usage InstructionsCAUTION:CUSTOMERS IN THE U.K. SHOULD READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.CHANGING THE FUSETHE MAINS LEAD ON THIS PRODUCT IS FITTED WITH A NON-REWIREABLE(MOULDED) PLUG, INCORPORATING A 3 AMP FUSE. SHOULD THE FUSE NEED TOBE REPLACED AN ASTA OR BSI APPROVED BS1362 FUSE OF THE SAME RATINGMUST BE USED.ALWAYS REFIT THE FUSE COVER AFTER REPLACING THE FUSE. NEVER USE THEPLUG WITH THE FUSE COVER OMITTED.CHANGING THE PLUGIF THE FITTED PLUG IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUR SOCKET OUTLETS, IT SHOULDBE CUT OFF AND AN APPROPRIATE PLUG FITTED IN ITS PLACE. IF POSSIBLE FIT ANAPPROPRIATE 3 AMP FUSE. IF THE NEW PLUG HAS NO FUSE, THEN FIT A 5 AMPFUSE AT THE DISTRIBUTION BOARD.AC POWER CORD CONNECTIONThe wires in the mains lead of this apparatus are coloured in accordance with the followingcord.(IMPORTANT)As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may not correspond with the coloured markingsidentifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured BLUEmust be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. Thewire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with theletter L or coloured red.
