105S Selecting the AF AreaNYou can manually select the AF point or zone. If 19-point automaticselection AF + AI Servo AF has been set, you can select any positionwhere AI Servo AF is to start.1 Press the <S> or <B> button.(9)X The AF points will be displayed in theviewfinder.In the Zone AF mode, the selectedzone will be displayed.2 Select an AF point.The AF point selection will change inthe direction you tilt <9>. If youpress <0>, the center AF point (orcenter zone) will be selected.You can also select a horizontal AFpoint by turning the <6> dial andselect a vertical AF point by turningthe <5> dial.In the Zone AF mode, turning the<6> or <5> dial will change thezone in a looping sequence.Selecting the AF Point ManuallyWhen you hold down the <Q> button and turn the <6> dial, you canselect a vertical AF point.When you press the <S> or <B> button, the LCD panel displays thefollowing:• 19-point automatic selection AF and Zone AF (manual zone selection):AF• 1 pt AF (Manual selection): SEL (Center)/SEL AF (Off center)With [8C.Fn II-10: Manual AF pt. selec. pattern], you can set either[Stops at AF area edges] or [Continuous] (p.373).COPY
