Charge thebattery pack before use.For approximate charging times andrecording/playback times with a fullbattery pack, refer to the tables onpages 87-88.1 Connect the power cord to thecompact power adapter.2 Plug the power cord into a poweroutlet.3 Connect the compact poweradapter to the camcorder’s DC INterminal.4 Attach the battery pack to thecamcorder.Press the battery pack lightly andslide it up until it clicks.5 Charging will start when theswitch is turned to (CHARGE).The red CHARGE indicator startsflashing.
