Restraint System CheckChecking the Restraint SystemsSafety BeltsNow and then, check the safety belt reminder light,safety belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, andanchorages are all working properly.Look for any other loose or damaged safety belt systemparts. If you see anything that might keep a safety beltsystem from doing its job, have it repaired. Torn or frayedsafety belts may not protect you in a crash. They can ripapart under impact forces.
