When itis engaged by the driver, the system can apply limitedbraking or acceleration of the vehicle automaticallyto maintain a selected follow distance to the vehicleahead. Braking is limited to 2.45 m/sec2 (0.25 g's)of deceleration, which is comparable to moderateapplication of the vehicle's brakes. To disengage ACC,apply the brake.
